The Shakes' Michael "Steady Eddie" Thompson is moving on to new adventures, so the band is looking for a versatile drummer who loves playing live and having fun. The Shakes Society is a Florida-based band (Tampa Bay) that plays Rock, Reggae, Ska & Alternative. Our focus is having fun -- we're there to entertain and get your people moving. The band's arrangements include vocal harmonies, sax, trumpet, flute... and frequent guest players depending on the situation.

The Shakes have played with many national acts including The Ramones, Bo Diddley, Eek-A-Mouse, Special Beat, Dweezil Zappa, Lisa Loeb, Georgia Satellites, 10,000 Maniacs, and Missing Persons.
